Happy New Year! 2012 begins

What a way to start off the new year. Mommy spent the first couple weeks on the couch because her wrist hurts so bad, although she did go to work and things are starting too look up.

This month, I got upgraded to a big boy bathtub... no more blow up tub.  Now I get the whole tub to myself with tons of toys.  Daddy gives me baths since obviously Mommy can't, so we play splashing games, and he squirts me, and he even hides behind the curtain sometimes.  Mommy always laughs when I squirt her with my fish toys.

I'm also using my very own fork and spoon when I eat my dinner now.  I have a hang of the ƒork but the spoon is interesting.  I'm learning how to keep it in my mouth once it's there. Right now I turn it upside down before it gets to my mouth so my corn and peas go everywhere.  It makes me laugh!

We've been to the park many times but this time, we went down the slide.  Daddy showed me how to do it all by myself and now I love it! We went to the park with the Pucci's and I had lots of fun with Daddy and Uncle Pucci.  Mommy and Bentley played too, although they were only on the grass.

This month was Dustyn's Bday so we went to the park to celebrate.  We even got to play in a jumping castle.  Mommy video taped Daddy and I playing basketball.  It was a great day!

I've been learning lots of new tricks.  I know where my ears, eyes, nose, mouth, hands, and feet are.  I also know how to bring things to you when you ask for them, and can even clean up my own toys after I'm done playing with them.  I'm becoming a real big boy!  15 months old already, can you believe it? By the end of the month, Mommy was feeling much better and we were able to play again.  I love rubbing her cast. It's hard and feels weird.

Gramps made me look like a nerd :( Can you tell how unhappy I was? LOL
We played dress up. Notice the different shoes! You think I look funny, you should've seen Daddy.  I put my shoes on his ears!
Uncle Dave and Kelsey took me to the Zoo so Daddy could take Mommy to the doctor.  We had a blast!

 Bath time
I love playing with the shower door.  My Daddy is funny!
Weekend cartoons in my diaper. Love it!

It took me a while but I eventually got the hang of the jumping castle.

December 2011

It's almost the holidays and the chill is in the air.  We are busy all the time and unfortunately I can't keep up.  The month started off rough with a cold that made me very cranky. Then once that went away, I began having night terrors. The doctor says that these are when I am still asleep but screaming. When Mommy and Daddy come to get me, I don't know who they are or where I am and I totally freak out.  It takes me a while to snap out of it.  Let's just say, the two nights that I did this, we were all very tired!! I'm thinking that this has to do with the growth spurt I'm going through.

This month I learned how to open doors, so now I run away from everyone playing Hide and Seek, and close the doors behind me.  I think it's fun but I don't think my parents agree. I have also started testing my luck with the word "no". Sometimes I laugh when Mommy says it, but I still listen because I don't want to get in trouble.  I've also been talking up a storm! Check out some of the words I say all the time now: Mommm, Daddy, Doggie, Blankie, Ball, Bye Bye, Hi, Up, bubus (Bubbles), Hot, Oos (shoes), Benye (Bentley), Bear, Cow, OOH, O's (Cheerios) Wow.  I can say more but usually when I'm copying others. It's fun to talk now.

This month, we went to Zoo Lights and I got to see the zoo all lit up for Xmas. It was beautiful.  I also had my first real accident- I was at Aunt Roxy's new apartment and I hit my lip on the table.  My 2 front teeth went straight through my bottom lip and it was cut pretty bad.  No stitches but I was sore for a while.  I cried a little but I think it bothered Mommy more. I healed.

The holidays were a blast! We had the Harris Hannukkah Party and I learned that I LOVE Latkes! I ate a ton of them!! Then we had Xmas at Gramps house and the whole family was there. We had a blast and everyone was there! The last celebration we had was at Grandma Cheryl's house.  We had a yummy breakfast and then went outside to play with my cool new wagon.  What a great holiday season!  I LOVE the Hannukkah tree but Mommy and Daddy taught me to not go near it. I just look at it and clap!

The day after Xmas, Mommy and Daddy left me with Papa and Grandma for 3 nights so they could go with Uncle Chris and Christina snowboarding.  I had a blast with my visit. I got to hang out with Uncle Dave, Kelsey, and Nanie too! We all had a great time but I don't think we knew what was coming next. Mommy and Daddy had fun, but on the last day of their trip, Mom fell really hard and fractured her right wrist in 5 places. :(  She's in soooooo much pain!!! When they came home, Daddy did EVERYTHING for both of us. Mom should have had surgery but she wanted to do the quickest treatment. Her arm is casted all the way up past her elbow and she can't hold me or even hug me right now. It's pretty rough right now. But everyone in our family has been so amazing in helping out with the chores, and with me.
Checking to see who is watching me pull on the front door...good thing it's locked!
 Happy Hannukkah and Merry Xmas!

Fun times with Daddy in our tree

Mommy and I kiss through the banisters everyday.  I love it!
My buddy, Madden and I ready to see some Zoo Lights
You expect me to pay attention to the camera when there are lights everywhere? Um, no sorry.Maybe next year.

Xmas at Gramps house... can you see my fat lip?
GG and GGrandpa came down from Casa Grande to spend Xmas with us

November... Gobble Gobble

Happy November everyone! When the doctor told mommy that things are going to go fast now, he wasn't kidding.  I'm growing like a weed!  Last month I was only walking with help but this month, brace yourself, I'm officially a walker!  I walk all around all by myself! Watch out!

This very busy month started off with the wonderful blessing (NOT!) of 6 teeth!  They all came in at once just in time for us to fly to Reno for Uncle Brian and Aunt Susan's wedding.  Mommy and Grandma were worried that it was going to make flying rough for me but it didn't seem to bug me too much.  Flying there was easy because I slept most of the trip and I had a blast playing around when we flew home.  I was an angel in Reno too!  We stayed with Aunt Leslie and Uncle Steve in the beginning and then we went to the hotel where I got to sleep in a pack-n-play in the bathroom! The entire weekend I was trying to walk so bad.  In the casino, I took 9 steps on my own!! On the day of the wedding, I was able to take pictures and then I got to play with a very nice babysitter.  We had a blast running up and down the halls.

I am growing up so much this month.  I LOVE books, especially the ones with texture, and Daddy taught me how to go up and down the stairs all by myself. I love sliding down on my belly :)  I also give kisses now (although watch out because they are wet ones!) I have become a hugger too, especially to Bentley.  I love going up behind people and hugging their legs.

Thanksgiving was a blast! We all went to Grandma and Papa's house and had a great dinner.  I got to walk all over the house (yup, it was today that I decided I was done crawling and I got myself up from sitting position and took off!).  What a great month!

Jason was there too! It was nice to meet my family from Chicago
