I started the month going to the pumpkin patch with Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Roxy, and Grandma Cheryl. We got to pick pumpkins and apples and I even got to eat the filling of apple pie. It was so yummy!!! I was a really good boy and especially loved chewing on the stem of the pumpkin. Hey, don't judge! I am teething and it felt wonderful!
I'm learning and growing a lot! I already know how to sign "more please" and I do it very well but now Mommy is teaching me how to say "all done". I don't quite have the hang of it yet but I will. I am also making funny faces and copying everyone. Daddy and I especially like to go back and forth with this game. He makes some great faces! I got my second haircut and I did great! The buzzing in my ears was tickling me a little but I didn't even flinch. Now I get to spike my hair. I look a little more like a little boy and a little less like a baby. (I love it but Mommy gets a little sad. I guess she wants me to stay little forever.)
I'm walking all around our house now (not on my own yet, but I am getting really good using my dino walker and Mommy and Daddy.) All of my grandparents walk with me all over their houses too! I get lots of practice. I went to the doctor for my 1 year check up and got 5 shots! I cried a lot this time but hey, wouldn't you! I even got a little sick from it with a fever and I was super sleepy for a while. It's ok though, I'm tough! It turns out, I'm only in the 46th percentile for weight and 86% for height. I have only gained 2 pounds in 6 months!!! I eat A LOT though, so don't worry. Speaking of eating: I am no longer on formula. I'm a big boy now and big boys drink milk! MMMM
My birthday was this month, as you already know! I'll tell you all about my big special day (or as Mommy likes to say, my Birthday Week!) on another blog! At the end of the month, we celebrated Halloween and I was a monkey. I know, very fitting since that's what everyone calls me. I kinda like the nickname. I laugh and giggle when I hear it. :) We got to go to the zoo and trick or treating with the Pucci's. Madden was a cookie monster. We had a great time! The only downfall to the holiday were the 4 teeth that I popped through. Well two molars came through, and now 2 front ones are trying hard. It's going to be a long couple of days until this is done. Good news is: I LOVE brushing my teeth. :)
Stay tuned for next month! I'm going to Reno for Uncle Brian and Aunt Susan's wedding. Woohoo!!!!
