May

What a busy month!!! Mother's Day weekend, Aunt Leslie and Uncle Gary came out to visit. We had a great time hanging out, except that Mommy had to spend the first half of her day with me at Urgent Care because I had an ear infection. The funny thing is: I was tugging on my left ear but it was my right ear that was infected. Silly me!  Surprisingly enough though, I LOVE the meds they gave me. mmmm it was like dessert!

We had Mommy's school carnival. She was in the dunk tank and I got to throw a ball to dunk her (well really Daddy did it but he gave me the credit).  I even got my own Sycamore onsie! I love hanging with my friends, Molly and Mia and meeting Mommy's students and their families. It was a great night!

A lot happened the week I turned 7 months. Two shiny white teeth popped up from the bottom. I was a champ during the day but at night, I was getting up once or twice, screaming and very uncomfortable. Let's just say, it was a long week for everyone! But now, I love them because I get to bite into yummy things like bananas and watermelon.

I love that I can roll over but now I am ready to crawl! I try really really hard but just can't do it yet. I'm sitting up on my own now, although I still take spills backwards at times. I'm going to keep working on it!

May 26th was a BIG day for my family! It was Mommy's last day of work, Mommy and Daddy's anniversary, and my last day with Aunt Laura and Layla for 6 weeks! We went to a school party to celebrate with Mommy's work friends and I got my first kiss from my friend, Molly Connelly.  Then, I hung out with my friend Mia Ramirez. I am quite the popular kid at Sycamore!

Mommy and Daddy celebrated their anniversary and I got to hang with Grandma and Papa. Uncle Dave and Kelsey hung out too!  It was a great month!

 I'm hiding in Grandma's pillows.
I know it doesn't look comfy but trust me, I'm in heaven and exhausted from going swimming with Mommy and Daddy.
I love spending time in my Bumbo chair. It's what is helping me sit up smart!
I love this toy... and so does Bentley. He always tries to play the keyboard with me!
Didn't you know... even with the 100 degree weather, I still need my blankie. Thankfully, Grandma's friend, Beth sent me a smaller version of it so that I can carry it without dying of heat. It even comes to restaurants with me.
MMM watermelon! Those two teeth definitely come in handy.
Uncle Chris bought me this basketball jersey. I love it!
My first shower with Daddy. Took me a few minutes but we had lots of fun!

April- 6 months old!

What a great month! I'm getting to be such a big boy! Mommy made me a bunch of yummy veggies and I've been eating them like crazy. I actually started fruits too! I LOVE everything orange: squash, carrots, and sweet potatoes but I'm not a huge fan of green beans. Mommy is a bit sad because she made me a ton! Maybe I'll like them in a little bit! I just started apples and I love that too! Bananas are my favorite, especially when Aunt Laura does the "Banana Dance" with me. mmm they are yummy! Mommy tried a sippy cup and it didn't go very well. We'll try again later.

I had my first Passover and had a lot of fun. I tried Matzah and I have to say...yuck! I like making crumbs with it though! This was my first Easter too and Aunt Roxy came to visit. We had an Easter Egg Hunt and I rolled around on Grandma's floor for a while. It was a great day!

This month I 've been clapping my hands, laughing at myself, and even dabbling with a little separation anxiety. I don't know what it is but whenever Mommy or Daddy walk out of the room, I fuss for a minute and then I move on. I know, I know, it's weird but I'll get over it soon.

Sometimes I make faces when Mommy and Daddy try and sing to me in the highchair. Just feed me!
Every Monday I hang with Gramps at work. I LOVE pretending to be productive... and don't worry, the pen may look like it's in my ear but it's not. I'm thinking!
My first "official" photo shoot. Aren't I a cutie?
 Gotta have my blankie!
Easter and Passover are wonderful holidays but if I can't have chocolate, I think I'll wait until next year. Matzah is kinda icky!
Grandma wanted to take family pictures while Aunt Roxy was in town.
Grandma loves reading to me at night. I'd rather chew on the book than look at the pictures but I'm being good this time haha.
My friend Madden and I hang out all the time! We're watching a basketball game with the family!
I HAVE to have my blankie in my mouth when I sleep. I like to curl up on my side and straddle it. I go to sleep at 7:30 PM now and I sleep through the night. Mommy and Daddy are so lucky!
